Club mission statement / objective

To Promote the Health and Welfare of the Tibetan Spaniel in the Northern Club Boundaries

History of the Club

The club was first established in 1970 by our current Hononary Pesident Dorothy Charlton and our Current

Patron Norman Charlton. Initially the club did not have permission from the Kennel Club to hold Shows, so they held shows with a twist - Picture Shows!   In 1980 the Northern Tibetan Spaniel Club held its first Championship show,  following the Kennel club's permission.  This was a success, and we are still continuing this tradition with 2 shows per year - with the Open Show in March and the Championship Show in November.
